Question Will I need to upgrade my power supply?

Im trying to upgrade my CPU and Motherboard and I was wondering if I need to get a new power supply too. I was told that I should get rid of my power supply and upgrade it but I do not want to unless I have to so I can save money.

All of the stuff in that build is already in my current PC minus the CPU and Motherboard.

Not the best PSU but not the worst either. If it's only a few years old you should be good to go. You can use HWinfo or OCCT to see if it's putting out what it should. I'd try to replace it with a more reliable model in the near future when funds are available.

Depends on your budget and location. The problem with a budget PSU is you won't be getting much of an upgrade over what you have now. Any of these would be good-

PSU upgrades

Sometimes the 650 watt version of those 550 watt models sell for almost the same price. Check and grab one of them instead if the price is close.
