Will I still have 75Hz?

So I am getting a new graphics card soon and my 1080p monitor only gets 75hz at 1280x720 and other lower resolutions with A VGA connection. Does buying an active converter actually help keep it at 75hz? Please offer me some options

umm i think you can expect 75hz still but you should just but a new cable to support a higher resolution. get a HDMI or DVI cable. display port is nice if you can

I mean an active converter such as this,https://www.amazon.ca/Adapter-GANA-Converter-Supporting-displays/dp/B06XFR74K2/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
When I hook this monitor up to a dvi cable, it cannot reach 75hz.

i mean it should have enough speed to handle 75hz at 720p but its probably not supported. what ports does your graphics card and monitor have?

https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-6253-KR its this one so it is the norm, I don't think it matters what ports my gpu has.
My monitor has HDMI, VGA and DVI. For me it seems that only vga can support 75hz

anyway HDMI is more then capable and better then VGA, it has a better bandwidth and its a digital signal
