So the question is will I void my warranty if I add an ssd to a prebuilt lenovo legion y520 tower (i3-7100, gtx 1050ti, legion y520t-25IKL desktop)
That already has a 1TB seagate hdd from the factory and after the installation of the ssd migrate the os from the hdd to the ssd? Will that void my warranty? :??:

it should not void the warranty at all. BUT like I have done in the past to make sure you keep the warranty is remove and store the 1TB drive (or use it as a second drive) then if you need to send it in for a repair.. remove your SSD and put the 1TB back as the main.. though they will wipe it normally so that is why I would just store it with the OS and such still installed on it..

Yeah I was gonna use the seagate hdd as a secondary drive and the ssd as a boot drive and for some other small things and I also thinked about the solution that I would keep the os still on the hdd but not do anything about the os on there and then if the pc got a problem and I needed to send it in for warranty repairs I would just get the ssd out of the pc and select the hdd as the new boot drive in the lenovo bios utility

That would prob be a good one though but im on a vacation now so if i call them now it will cost freaking much.. but imma prob give that a shot once i get home next tuesday
