Question Will i3 -7100 bottleneck rx 6600?

Wouldn't really call it a bottleneck, rather call it a very weak CPU.
Its a dual core/ 4 thread processor, you will struggle with it in any modern game you play.
Your i3 is STRUGGLING to keep up with your GPU. Its running on 100% usage miserably trying to keep up with your GPU. Its like sprinting and jogging, the i3 is sprinting to catch up to your RX 6600, which is basically jogging. I dont know even know what im talking about anymore lol.
Anyhow, its time to upgrade that CPU.

Whats your make/model of your motherboard?
Whats the exact budget that u can work with?
Well I'm using OEM motherboard from delloptiplex t3500 tower I don't know the exact motherboard model board model but it's def a LGA 1151 socket i was thinking about upgrade to i5 9400f since that is similar to the cpu i have right? Will that bottleneck my pc too? + plus i know it's bad i shouldn't be using this type of motherboard tho I'm planning to upgrade in the future but not right now tho i hope you understand

If you currently have a 7100 then a 9400f will not work, as it's not compatible with the motherboard.
If you have a 7100 then a 7700K would be the best cpu in that socket. However we would need to know the correct model to make sure it is supported as OEM motherboards can have limited cpu support compared to retail boards.

Also there is no such thing as an optiplex T3500. There is a Precision t3500 but that is socket 1366 and would not work with a 7100(or 9400f).

If you search optiplex i3 7100 it comes up with a Optiplex 3050, and specs shows the fastest supported cpu is a i5 7500. https://www.dell.com/support/manual...a53ab2-a85d-42d5-9106-5214220306aa&lang=en-us
