will i5-8400 support 4gbx2DDR4 2400 mhz RAM ?

been problems in th.com and seen lots of answers but i dont still quite get it with these QVL MB and all. im thinking of getting an upgrade to my CPU and GPU and will i5-8400 support my DDR4 2400mhz ?

Probably. But if not on the qvl there is a pretty small chance it will not.
