will i7 3770 3.4GHz & Xeon E3 1240 v2 3.4Ghz have same gaming performance?

i need to upgrade my cpu from i5 3470 to i7 3770,coz i always play GTA V,Witcher3,Watch dogs...(openworld titles),i cant go for skylake because my mobo is msi h61m-p32/w8(1600mhz ddr3 8gb)
but in my country i7 3770 so expensive,then i decided to go for used Xeon e3 1240 v2 3.4ghz.
I NEED TO KNOW:
1.will both i7 3770 & Xeon E3 1240 v2 perform same in gaming(mostly openworld titles)?
2.will Xeon cpu can run without graphics card(i noticed that one doesnt have igpu)?
3.will that cpu give me reasonable improvement in games(my gpu:GTX 1060 6gb)(gta v,mafia 3,watchdogs,witcher3...)?
4.can this Xeon run correctly with h61 mobo?(my friend using this cpu with gigabyte h61 mobo)

They are nearly identical CPUs. As far as gaming is concerned, the only difference between the two is a small 200MHz difference in frequency, which is only about a 7% advantage for the i7-4790.
Yeah, it'll run better for sure.

The 3770 will perform much better in games etc than the xeon. Should reduce the bottleneck, but it's not going to be a MASSIVE difference
 
The Xeon E3 1240 V2 does have the same performance. The Xeon does not have integrated graphics. The upgrade probably won't be very noticeable in most games, but it is basically the most you can do without replacing the motherboard. In games that scale well across eight threads, you can see up to a roughly 30% performance boost which can be noticeable. In most games which don't scale well past four threads, the performance will be about the same as your i5. Your motherboard has official support for the Xeon.

HDD-Mod, why do you think the i7 will perform better despite the fact that the i7-3770's only advantage is a 100MHz higher max turbo?
 
A 100MHz boost from 3.8GHz to 3.9GHz (also keep in mind this is max turbo, not the guaranteed frequency) is a 2.5% improvement. That is so small you can't possibly see it. Faster and noticeably faster are two very different things, especially when one CPU is around $100 cheaper.
