I currently have i5-4690K, 16gb RAM and GTX 980Ti.
In preparation of the new Flight Simulator, amongst other games, I plan to upgrade both my CPU and GPU. However, I want to upgrade my CPU first. I used the CMD prompt to find out my motherboard, which shows it as:
IdentifyingNumber Name UUID
2451921 All Series 55AF6180-D7DA-11DD-A85F-7824AF35C3A5
It seems very generic. Does anybody know how to find out if this CPU would fit inside my motherboard?
I'm guessing it will since the motherboard seems modern and I only swapped the motherboard about 8 months ago because the CPU pins were damaged on the old one, and I didn't give much thought about if my current CPU would fit into a new motherboard but it did.
CPU is here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Core-i7-9800X-3-80GHz-999AC3/dp/B07JGCSMJX
