Will Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 Bottleneck Nvidia Geforce Gt 710 ddr5?

Solution
System requirements for that game are:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz.
OS: Windows 7 32-bit.
VIDEO CARD: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 6570 2 GB.

So, this game needs a quad core CPU as a minimum. And yours is dual.
The GPU you mentioned is also too slow for the game. 650 is much faster than 710, and yet it is the bare minimum required to run the game.

Full system upgrade is advised. You might even get the game to run, but don't expect anything except ultra-low performance.
It is actually hard to tell which component of the two you mentioned is worse in that regard. 710 can barely be called a "graphics card", it is slower than most integrated GPUs that come free with CPUs (even the integrated HD4600 from a 4-year old 4th gen Intel CPUs is much faster than 710!). 710 is OK for watching videos and browsing, and that's about it.

The CPU is very old and slow as well.

Entire rig is a huge bottleneck, no matter how you look at it. Unless you plan to play games from 2005-2009, with lowered details. In that case, it should perform OK.

I want TO Play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 I saw sm videos tht gpu is enough can i run ut with these

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz
RAM: 2 GB System Memory
GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 6570 2GB
DX: DirectX 11

Theoretically:
Your processor is below the minimum requirements (Q6600 4 cores, E8400 2 cores)
GT710 is not much different than GT650, which means very near to minimum.

Practically:
Graphic might be enough, processor...well..I dunno
You would not really now unless you try. If it does not work at all or does not work as expected, just do not be surprised.

Except that it is....

==========
650 vs 710:
==========

384 shading units vs 48
1058MHz clock vs 810
34 GTexel/s vs 6.5
17 GPixel/s vs 3.2
32 texture mapping units vs 8
16 rendering outputs vs 4
80GB/s memory bandwidth vs 14.4
GDDR5 vs DDR3

In short, we are talking about a MASSIVE difference in favor of 650. And yet it is the bare minimum for this game. Avoid 710 at all costs.

Did any of you even owned a C2D? I overclocked my E8400 to 4 GHz and was able to play Battlefield 3 at ultra settings with it F:NV, Source engine shit, GTA IV, handled, everything fine. Defintely one of the best cheap dual cores out there.

However that 710 is utter crap that can is outperformed by crappy integrated graphics, from intel or amd. Its the worst investment possible unless you got it for 3 bucks. Hell even for 3 bucks you will find used spare cards from early 2000s that probably outperform that shit.

Probably not able to run that game.

He has already the 710. No way to avoid it.
That will not change much with 650. 650 is also still hell weak.
Both are not exactly for gaming today.
Even a 750Ti should be already around 60-75% more faster than 650.
But yes, I am not used to compare 2 weak gpus.

I came from Q6600, which is practically more or less the 4 core version of E8400.
I was among those who kept using Q6600 @3GHz + 8GB RAM + HD6850 until Q4 2014.

Games are built differently. Some are less cpu dependent.
For BF3, as long as you have strong graphic card, you should be ok.
Similar for GTA 4.
XV2 could perhaps be a fully different case.

Yup! Things like 710, 650, etc. are indeed sh*tty and 710 is among the worse.

a clear answer is no! the gt 710 is a low end 65bit, not 128 bit card. its so low end, that most dont have fans and are super quiet. you can get the gt 710 or a hd 5450. both will be fine.

Quite wrong my friend, an overclocked E8400 outperformed all the Core 2 Quads in single and dual core applications while drawing less power, that until the most powerfull Q9000's series of Quads came.

So As You All Said I Have Changed My Mind
So I Would Be Buying An Intel Pentium G4400 And A Nvidia Geforce Gt1030...
Now Tell Will It Bottleneck?

And Another Question ---Do You Think These Materials Also Suck???

If you are aiming for lowest possible price, try to get g4560 instead (it has 2 cores with hyperthreading, g4400 does not) and nvidia 1050 is a better choice for this cpu, since 1030 will be a bottleneck. No matter what you choose, it will be miles better than your current combo.
