Will it all fit and does thermal paste need to be applied?

Hello all. I just had a couple really quick questions. Number 1: I have a CM HAF 912 case and am installing an FX 8350, CM Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler and 8 gigs of DDR3-1600 Corsair Ballistix Sport RAM. Will there be any problems fitting that on the board? Should I worry about clearance issues? Also, does anyone have a really good YouTube video you would recommend for a tutorial for this build? The MOBO is a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3.
Number 2: DO I need to apply thermal paste to the CPU or is it usually already applied? If I do have to, what is the most recommended way?

2) It will not have paste pre-applied so you're going to have to do it yourself. Best way is to put a drop the size of a pea in the middle of the processor and then apply the heatsink. You can also follow CoolerMaster's instructions and smear the paste on the heatsink and apply.

The cooler should come with some paste in a plastic tube.
