[SOLVED] will it be a good upgrade M.2

hello.
i got an amazon gift card and thinking of use it to upgrade my m.2 drive, i now have the WD Black 256GB (2017), works good no problems here. but i know the Samsung 970 EVO is much better, is it worth an upgrade? will i feel a difference ?
i dont play too much anymore, but when i do its RPG like Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or DMC 5.
i do use my PC for some photoshop and illustrator, and sometimes premiere too.
other then the M.2 WD Black 256GB i got a 256 TRANSCEND SDD and 2GB WD BLACK HDD that i now use with storeMI with an old intel ssd.

thinking of buying a Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 250GB
or the NONE plus 970 500 GB modle and giving up on the old intel ssd.

what do you think worth the trouble or am i just going to be wasting my time?

A faster M.2 will not be very noticeable in 99% of tasks. Really only will be noticeable in benchmarks and when dealing with large file transfers.

i do use my PC for some photoshop and illustrator, and sometimes premiere too.

For my Lightroom use, I can't tell the difference between the 1TB Intel 660p and the 1TB Samsung 860 EVO.
Processing the same pics, with the same edits, writing out to each, takes exactly the same amount of time.

Drive speed is not the only determinant of overall performance.
