Will it be compatible?

So i already asked a question about GTX 1060 3GB Zotac AMP version and compatibility with m5a78l-m-lx3.

So it says that it support 3.0 PCIe,but as far as i know mine motherboard support's 2.0 PCIe x16 slot.

So will this motherboard ( Asus m5a78l-m-lx3. ) be compatible with this gpu (ASUS Dual GTX 1060 3gb).

As well any difference between ASUS one and Zotac one?

they are backwards compatbile but you wont get any fps above 60

Well im sure i will have above 60 fps in specific games. Im not sure how different PCIe affects performance in game. Or at least fps counter.

Maybe in some titles i wont have above 60fps

from what i understand above 60 FPS is only acheivable with pcie 3.0 when gsync freesync etc only work with pci e 3 .0
