About compatibility, you have to check some websites to see if the microprocessor and graphics card is compatible with your motherboard (microprocessor socket in the case of microprocessor and PCI slot or PCI Express slot in the case of graphics card). For example, if an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card uses two PCIE x16 slot and a motherboard has two PCIE x16 slot then these two components can work together (this graphics card actually uses one slot but it covers two slots because it is so big).
I checked a few websites. The idea is that you want (what I call) the "Good Trinity of Gaming" (i.e. microprocessor, RAM, and graphics card) to work at approximately equal loads. If for example, your computer's microprocessor/CPU runs a...

If for example, your computer's microprocessor/CPU runs a game at about 100% usage but the graphics card usage is about 90% then there is a bottleneck. You can read more websites to find out more about it but the following websites below would help. If anybody else can help, please help.

I tried this online "bottleneck calculator" just now. Assuming that your computer has 8 GB of RAM and uses a SATA 7.2K hard disk drive, there is a bottleneck and the calculator recommends an AMD FX-6300. However, I could be wrong so I recommend that you try this website below. It will only take a few minutes. Anybody else is welcome to help.

That bottleneck website is pure garbage.

That CPU may hold back a 1050 ti, how much is going to depend on how CPU dependent the game or program is. For the most part games should be playable. So just make your next upgrade a CPU, motherboard and ram upgrade.
