I have an AMD A6-6310 Quad Core 1.8Ghz APU Processor with AMD R4 Graphics.I will change my GPU with a GT 1030 2G (Gigabyte) and i want to know if my CPU will bottleneck my GPU.My GPU is from AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series.
Behind all of this,is a story. One day i went to format my pc.My pc is droping frames when i turn the graphics quality to ultra, high and sometimes to medium to and doesn't play big games either(it is not slow though when i dont play videogames,it is pretty fast). So i told him about that and he said that we cant do something about the cpu because it was locked(no overclock,no changing)but we can do something about your gpu.He said we cant put big gpus like 1050 and better. But he said that he will check it out and in 1 or 2 days he will tell me what we can do.Well 2 days pass and he calls me and says that i can put a 1030 with no problem. My power supply was good for a 1050 too but if we put 1050 we just gonna waste our money and time without a reason and create some problems thats wouldnt be good for your gaming experience.

I thank all those who helped and replied to my question and spend some time to help me. :) :) :)

Edit:This pc Is prebuilt.
Edit#2:Every time I play the game my cpu is like 10-30% and my gpu is at 99-100%.Meaning that my gpu is bottlenecking my cpu and I will say again that is a Lenovo prebuilt what the f@**

If you have a 350W then I would go for the RX 550, it will just slightly bottleneck, it will outperform the 1030 and it is in the same price range as a GT 1030. There is a low profile version if you need that.

I suspect that you have a HD 7730 as you are reporting a real memory clock frequency of 400 MHz which would be stated as 800 MHz effective speed because of the Double Data Rate (DDR) memory.
http://www.geeks3d.com/20100613/tutorial-gpu-tools-and-gpu-memory-clock-real-and-effective-speeds-demystified/

In the table you will see that the 7730 is the only 7000 series GPU with a clock speed of 400 MHz. The HD 6450 has a clock speed of 625 MHz. It must be an...
Depends on the game but in general it’s going to do poorly regardless as that’s an older entry level laptop cpu trying to interact with a discrete gpu.

Spend as little as possible to limp that along and save for a full system replacement.

Edit: if changing the detail level doesnt change the framerate, the cpu is already the bottleneck. You could have a heat problem.

First, I am a little confused, the A6-6310 is a mobile processor, is this a laptop or a desktop?

Next, there is no such thing as a HD 7700, I will assume it is a HD 7770.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_Series

The A6-6310 will pair quite well with the GT 1030, no bottleneck. The downside here is that you won't see a big improvement from the HD 7770. On Tom's hierarchy list they are at the same tier level.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

I don't see value in upgrading the GPU while maintaining that CPU. And the A6-6310 is a BGA769 socket so the CPU will be soldered to the motherboard.

If you absolutely have to upgrade the GPU I would be looking at an RX 550. It is a bit better than a GT 1030, won't significantly bottleneck and about the same cost.

When I change the detail level I see a very big difference in the framerate.I have a desktop pc and I saw this processor to a laptop too so I don't know whats up......but I have to say that my pc isn't heavy and isn't taking so much space at all.

I saw online that my gpu is a AMD Radeon 7000 series and nothing else.It is a small gpu and has 1 small fan on it.
The second thing is that my pc is a desktop but it is small and light.Thats why (maybe) it has this cpu on it.My gpu isn't HD 7770 (my bad).My gpu is a small potato and it is so bad.No way 100000% it isn't HD 7770 because that gpu plays at least some games.

And the A6-6310 is a BGA769 socket so the CPU will be soldered to the motherboard.
Yea it is I mentioned it too :).This is very bad because this cpu isn't the strongest and the f@ck*** clock speed is 1.8Ghz

Okay, let us know which Lenovo model it is and how much you are willing to spend. From there we can figure out the best upgrade option. But be advised that upgrading might not be worth the money, we shall see.

First, here is your technical manual
https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/desktop_pub/lenovo_h30_hmm_20140929.pdf

As I stated before and confirm here, CPU is soldered so you can only upgrade the CPU by replacing both the CPU and mobo. Can't do that new for $100. So back to evaluating a GPU upgrade.

The HD 7000 series GPU's are broken into 3 families, the HD 7700, HD 7800 and HD 7900. Weakest of these families is the HD 7700. Within the HD 7700 family you have the 7730, 7750, 7770 and 7790. These four vary greatly in performance levels so determining which you have is important. To do this, download either of these two free programs
https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

or
https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php

They will detect and report what system hardware you have including mobo, CPU, RAM and GPU. CPU-Z is a little easier to view while HWINFO64 is more detailed in its report. Once you know for sure which GPU you have an assessment of upgrade performance can be made. If you have a HD 7730 then a GT 1030 will blow it out of the water.

Biggest concern I have here though is your Power Supply Unit (PSU). Biggest PSU this system comes with is a 240W of cheap manufacture. This is small and the manual specifies discrete graphics cards of only up to 19W for this computer. I would be concerned about using anything greater than a 30W GT 1030 with this PSU. And you wouldn't be able to replace the PSU and GPU for under $100.

So long story short, you will have to evaluate your current GPU against a GT 1030 to see if you will get a significant performance improvement. Need to know exactly what model GPU you have.

I have a 350w for PSU and that's why I mentioned the man who told me about the cpu the graphics card and the psu said that my psu could hold a GTX 1050.I got to gpu z and says that the name of my gpu is AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series and that same thing poped up when I clicked on graphics in cpu z.The other thing is that I downloaded msi afterburner to monitor my fps and ram cpu and gpu usage and I saw that my gpu clock speed (when I was on the main menu) was 700mhz but now in cpu z it shows me that in current the clock speed is 400mhz and in level 2 is 775mhz.Second of all the under from name is the gpu which was caicos.I tapped on the lookup button and it showed that failed. But when I search for caicos I see a Radeon HD 6450 but I don't know if that means I have a Radeon HD 6450 because everything I check has 7000 on it soooo......The thing that's makes me confused is that I cant find anywhere drivers for this gpu and when I find I do it and restart my pc and then when I look for it it says that I have 29 months from the last time I upgrade. The gpu z look up didn't even find it and said GPU Lookup Failed. This GPU is one of the worst GPUS out there and I cant find it anywhere. The expert that said to me all this said that a GT 1030 it is 1000000 more better that the one I have.

Thanks for you help and concern by the way you are being very useful :)

Either way, all of these cards are slower than the 7730 so if you decide based on having a 7730 you are safe.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_Series

The RX 550 will be a significant improvement over the 7730, at least four tiers up in Tom's hierarchy and "Hugely faster effective speed" on UserBenchmark.
