Will it bottleneck?

i am making a pc so i am just asking if its gonna bottleneck.

CPU: R7 1700
GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1070
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB
Corsair VS650 v2

and does the psu have enough watts to power the system under load?

While the VS series is of questionable quality, that really wasn't the question. The PSU is sufficient to power this rig. If you can afford it, there are much better PSUs available.

The Ryzen 7 1700 and GTX 1070 will perform well together. Don't worry about bottlenecks. Game on.

Wanted to say something BEFORE he bought that thing, it's worse than questionable quality... Border line PSU shaped object...

And yeah he will be fine with the GPU and CPU combo.

What 8gb RAM? 1x8gb, 2x4gb? What speed?

Really you want a 16gb (2x8gb) of high speed to pair with this system. Buying 1x8gb now with the intention of getting another stick later carries a risk of issues.

Yeah but 16gb ram is not in my budget and not so important for games. Oh and its 2x4 GB ram at 2666 mhz

Can you recommend a psu thats in the price range of 100 dollars?

2666mhz is a little light for Ryzen, really would be aiming for 3000mhz. Also many modern AAA games (which a 1070 is aimed at) do benefit from 16gb, 8gb will suffer some stuttering at times.

Yeah it might benefit with 16 gb ram but i dont really play AAA Games and 3000Mhz 16gb ram is defintly not in my budget

What resolution and Hz are you gaming at? My thinking is if you don’t play AAA then do you really need a 1070? The 1070 is a great AAA card for 1080p 144Hz or 1440p 60Hz. If budget is a concern this might be an area you can save.

i am playing at 1080p 144hz and i am also playing vr and a 1060 3gb and 6gb is not good enough

well.... its a danish/swedish site its called elgiganten and sometimes i search for parts, for example like 600 watt psu
