hey,so we are talking about laptop

so will i7-6700hq bottleneck gtx 950m 4gb? Or vice verse?

I only find one on the internet that say it is good pair so i need to ask for my self,will it bottleneck? Thanks in advance

For the 3 year old games likely popular when it was designed, the CPU/GPU pairing should do fine at medium settings/resolutions. (Please do not expect 80 fps at 1080P in BF1 or BF5, however...; it's a mobile GPU)

The GPU will be the bottleneck but for gaming that's an ideal situation.

So i play warface today and i have about 90fps med setting but,if i have low on full hd or low on 1366x768 i have gpu usage about 90 and cpu about 20 why?
Plus i have huge fps drop from 100 to 15 for secend why?? The temp is cpu-70c max and gpu about the same why??

Monitor cpu cores/threads and not total cpu usage. Some games can only use 1 or 2 threads, it only takes 1 cpu core/thread to hit 100% to limit performance. However overall cpu load can show as very low.

When gaming you want high gpu usage, it shows you are utilising your gpu performance.

The FPS drops could be a cpu limitation and why I asked about cpu usage on all cores/threads. I don’t know the game you are running but the answer to my question will help indicate where the limitation or issue is.

How much RAM do you have? What speed is the RAM, and is it 1 or 2 sticks? Are you on WiFi or ethernet, and is you internet good enough to play online games without too high ping etc?

I have good internet and yes no high ping,i have 1x8gb ddr4 i think is 2133mhz,connected with wifi.
But i dont know why fps drop on zula and warface that games are i tested and the same resoult no matther if high or low settings

I dont know how so i have like 150fps and then for a secend frezze and fos goes to like 15 and up again to 150

I want to know why frezzes? Why fps drop it dosent matter if setting is on high or low if fps are on 60 or 150,i try on 2 games zula europe and warface and the fps drope is here why??? Pls help

I notice the fps drop is when player warface when one of commander talkingg the mision what to do but on zula evey time why??

One queiston when not gaming temp of cpu is about 37/42c max i have cooling pad but it is sommer now and very hot,so when gaming temp is max 70/73c myb somtimes hit 75/76 but not more of cpu Temp
Gpu not gaming 37/39c gaming about 67/68c is this good or?

So today was realy hot in my city, i have laptop pad and on flat surface so,the temp of cpu goes max to 79c and the gpu tepm to 75c max the fps all low 120/150 but drops to 15 and back up for a 1/2secend why?? Pla help
