Hey,

so i consider tu buy laptop (lenovo idepad gaming 3) which have i5 10300h,16gb ddr4 ram,1650ti,512gb m.2 nvme ssd...)

So i want to know two things is this good laptop?
And will i5 10300h bottleneck 1650 ti gpu or viceversa? Thanks

i asking this becouse i need machine for gaming i mean (laptop)...
most of the time will be gaming i mean ofc browsing and myb few movies a week,no editing,no photoshop,etc...

i found laptop with 8gb ram( i can order 8gb + from the site when i order laptop)cpu is i7 10750h but only with 1650nonti in that price... so i dont know now if the nonti is worth it...

for me is weird why the intel is so much expesive over amd...

If you care at all about Ray Tracing, get the RTX 2060. If not, go with the 1660ti. The difference between the two is tiny, for traditional gaming.

If you care at all about Ray Tracing, get the RTX 2060. If not, go with the 1660ti. The difference between the two is tiny, for traditional gaming.

I'd add that if it's a Max Q variant of the RTX2060, the 1660ti mobile is actually a little faster. Ranges between 5-15% in most games. Obviously as you pointed out, no raytracing the GTX though. Had the same choice for my laptop GPU. Went with the 1660ti mobile, and I love it.

hey, i cant decide now betwen this two laptops...

i know i mean i read old acer nitro 5 2018/2019 have a little bad cooling but new 2020/2021 solved this with cooling problem but i dont know about legion 5

I did look at other Acer's, and the one you have highlighted, I'm pretty sure comes with the 80W mobile variant of the 2060 and not the Max Q. So it will push more FPS. The Intel is a nudge faster than the Ryzen 4600h in games (really not much) along with the RTX2060 mobile version, I'd go with the lenovo for more performance. The Ryzen may get better results with multi-core work, but for gaming the Lenovo will push more FPS. The Ryzen also runs cooler that the I7.

i dont understand,you say the rtx and intel is faster but lenovo will get more fps..the acer have intel and rtx but lenovo have ryzen and 1660ti..

I will do browsing,watching movies somtimes and mostly gaming no video editing or streaming...

price lenovo is about 70-100€ more expensive here in my country.

You have been given performance comparisons. Gaming, GPU matters most, period. Either CPU will perform similarly, even if they both had a 2060. There is no such thing as futureproof, especially in laptops, that you cannot really upgrade much, beyond ram, and storage. Both are 6c/12t chips, so even future multicore capability is the same. Thermals, all you can do is look for reviews of those exact models.

You have been told multiple times, now, that it doesn't matter which you get, given the GPU you will be getting. You want the laptop with the fastest GPU. It doesn't matter if it is the 4600h or the 10750h.
