Will it fit

Im looking at purchasing a KFA2 GeForce GTX970 OC Infin8 black edition and i want to know if its compatible with a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 rev 1.2 motherboard with a AMD FX8350 cpu and i was wondering if my XFX 550w psu would be man enough

Yeah the gpu will work in it, no problems. The only things to consider are the Case - will it fit in the case? and the PSU - can the PSU provide enough power. To answer that you will have to tell us what your PSu and case are.

Srry its going into a Zalman Z11 plus and the psu is a XFX550w. cheers

Yeah srry its a Zalman Z11 plus case and a XFX 550 psu.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit the case and that PSU should be able to power a 970 but someone else will probably tell you its junk and go buy a better PSU haha

Depends if you have other stuff mounted to it that would get in the way of the card.

lol ive got a GTX 660ti in there at the moment and theres plenty of room either side of it, it was just the length i was concerned about, as for the psu i was just hoping it would be ok for now it is on my list of things to replace.

just found the measurements for the case and it does seem i have 4-5 cm spare with that card. Do you recommend a certain brand psu?

Don't ask me this community hates me for PSU's. I run a $20 CX430 powering a $300 CPU and $220 GPU. You can go buy a 1500 watt $400 dollar PSU everyone will recommend you to get but im of no help there. I like corsair and they don't have many reviews of frying other parts when they go belly up. There are good PSU's for $80-120 out here but I haven't looked into them yet. Waiting for this CX to die which might be a few more years.
