Hi, I am looking into building a custom pc, however I want to double check before I purchase all the relevant components,
the case -
Corsair CC-9011083-WW Carbide Series SPEC-ALPHA

Components:-
ASUS ROG Strix Z390-i
Intel core i7-8700k
ASUS ROG Strik RTX 2070 A8G (Advanced edition)
Samsung 860 Evo
Corsair RM850x
Corsair Hydro 100i

Yes that is all compatible. However, may I recommended getting also an NVME SSD as your boot drive. Depending on your budget, this could either be a small one to go along with the 860 or an HDD, or a large one to replace the 860 altogether. You can get a 1TB Intel 660p for around $100.

Why do you recommend this? Just wondering, also I'm getting a benQ EL2870U as monitor, will the Nvidia work fine with that?

Yes, it has Freesync which is now compatible with Nvidia GPUs, so it should be a good monitor.
