i am going to be buying

XSPC D5 Photon 270 Reservoir/ D5 Vario Pump Combo

for my build using 1x 120mm , 1x 240mm , 1x 360mm rads i am wonder will this pump handle or if i should go with a dual pump set up as a backup i am looking for a silent pump from EK,Swiftech,or is the one that comes with the photon good i will be adding 2x gtx 970 waterblocks i i need to after overcloking

No. It does not have enough head pressure to pump through all those radiators, and be effective. Best advise I can give is to run a dual pump. Just make sure that the pumps are the same, and you will be fine.

can you help in recommending any brands and/or dual pump set up?

i am asking before i buy this res and pump combo

You can buy that res/pump setup as you liked, and just find a Laing D5 Vario-655B pump that has the speed control on it, which will match the pump in that pump/res.
