Will G.Skill Ripjaws V 128GB (8x16GB) 2133 MHz DDR4 make my computer slower or would it be the same if i chose Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x16GB 2400 Mhz CL16 ?

Unless you have a ThreadRipper or a X299 motherboard, you probably don't have 8 DIMM slots. Very few people can utilize 128GB of RAM.

that's a not well defined question.
128GB are not comparable to 16GB.

yeah, i mean on price alone, one set costs 160 the other costs nearly 2 grand! In addition to the seriously expensive mobo's that could take 128gb of ram and have 8 dimm slots

the question as i understand it is: 128gb of 2133mhz vs 32gb of of 2400mhz? you'll get better performance with the higher clocked ram. perceptible performance, probably not. curious, what applications are you running that could possibly take advantage of 128gb of ram?
