Will it of been hurt?

A gpu fan that was on my r9 290 trix was caught on something and it was under a stress test the temps didn't go above 90 but is there a chance somnething that I wo'n't notice is damaged?

I doubt it and even if there was, there's not much you can do about it except buying a new cooler for your GPU.

If the fan still spins and your temps are ok, I would say all is good and move on. It does not sound like you have any issues.
