3GB may be an issue in select games, but in most cases, I wouldn't expect any problems performance-wise.

According to Oculus's recommended specs [https://support.oculus.com/170128916778795/], you should be fine. But as Polygon said, 3 GB memory on the GPU will be a pain for newer games.
