I've got one stick of 8 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666Mhz and another stick of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz RAM. If I install both the RAM on my Asrock Z370 Extreme4 Mobo and down-clock the 3200Mhz RAM to 2666 Mhz, will I have dual channel memory benefit?

Solution
If they run together at 2666 and you have them in the proper slots , A1 and B1 or A2 and B2 , yes it will be dual channel. Benefit is very small it terms of improvement. Also memory is sold in pairs for a reason , gives you superior compatibility.
Maybe? Try it, you can't break anything.

By far, the best chance for memory to work together in dual-channel is if they were part of the same kit, mis-matched sticks are less likely to work.

But, I have seen apparently identical sticks that seem to just hate each other and won't work together, and I've seen random collections of memory from the junk box work perfectly together.
