Hello, everybody.
So i just re-discovered my old PC. I have been using a laptop for the last couple of years, for both gaming and college work. And its sucks this thing struggles to run anything. Anyway i had my old PC which i found to be up-gradable (I think). here is it current components.

MOBO : Biostar TA785GE 128M Ver. 6.0
Processor : AMD Athlon II X2 240
GPU : None
Ram : 2 GB ddr2 800 mhz kingston rams
PSU : Media-Tech 650 watt non-modular.
---------------------------------------------------------
I was thinking to upgrade it like this.
MOBO : Biostar TA785GE 128M Ver. 6.0 (Same)
Processor : AMD Phenom X4 9850BE. (If i can find the phenom ii x4 955 BE, i'll switch)
GPU : Gigabyte nvidia 750 Ti 2 GB or (4 GB if i can)
Ram : ( 8 GB ddr2 800 mhz kingston)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please tell me if this can work out to be a good old gaming build i really don't game on high resolutions but for me fps is crucial. Also bare in mind that i can't afford a lot so its important to know if this is worth it or not. Thanks a lot in advance.

No i would not recommend. DDR2 memory and its platform is really old. Try to seek DDR 3 (its product cycle is near its end), while DDR4 memory is becoming mainstream now in 2017.

Try to get stuff on ebay/craigslist for good deals. If you buy used electronics or try to sell it, the value depreciates significantly. DDR2 is like early 2003-2007, ddr3 is between 2007-2014, and ddr4 is the current generation.

Well, the thing is i don't really have a method to buy stuff online (Laws state i can't have a bank account till 21, im 19), and the motherboard i have only supports ddr2 memory. Which re brings us to the same question Will it or not?
