i am building a computer and getting a loaned titan x from my cousin.
cpu: intel i5 660k
case: corsair spec 01
gpu: loaned titan x until i save up enough for a gtx 1070
ram: 2x 8 gb HyperX FURY
mobo: Asus LGA1151
psu:corsair cx 500w
fans: 2x 120mm red led fans
ssd: samsung 850 evo 250gb
hdd:Western digital 1tb 7200 rpm hard drive
dvd drive: asus 24x drive and burner
os: windows 10

Will this work? tanks sempii

Look for a better PSU, that CX500 is a low quality unit.

I wouldn't trust it to run a Titan X (or your GTX1070 when you get it), let alone the rest of your components.
At least aim for a RM650 or equivalent if you can, then you have a higher quality unit and more headroom for overclocking.

You should never cheap out on the power supply, remember that if it fails it could take the rest of your components with it.

Other than that, your parts list looks good (although make sure you are getting a Z170 board).

Beware with the SPEC 01 case: it isn't very deep, so coolers such as the Hyper 212 will be a tight fit/ may not fit at all...
