Do I need to buy something else in order for this to work like a PSU?

It will work fine in your motherboard however different models have different power requirements. Your PSU may not have the connectors to power the GPU, especially if you get a 1050ti.

Thanks. Its old, but got a decent rating back in its day. It does have the correct connectors so you should be fine running this.

It is something you want to consider replacing. PSUs do wear down over time and that one is 8 years old, far longer than it would normally be in service.
