I want to experiment and learn, using Hyper-V VMs on my (quiet performant) home computer.
But activating virtualization features like Windows hypervisor platform, virtual machine platform and Hyper-V components also adds the virtualization layer between the hardware and the host OS.
The main reason I have this home computer is gaming. So, do I have to expect any disadvantages (like performance loss or incompatibilities) while gaming, just from installing those windows features? (I will shut down all VMs for gaming, of course)
I am on Windows 10 Pro 18/09 with i7-4790k and NVidia 2080, latest updates and drivers.
