Hello, I am using a Fractal design R4 case, which I love because of its design and practicality, but since I installed second GTX 780, the temps and acustics of them are a bit to high for my taste, as they reached a bit over 80 degress for top card at stock speeds " boost around 1000mhz".
With single card I used an OC of 1256 Mhz amd never reached 80 degress. If I am not gaming It is dead silent, and fans on gpus tend to run at about 70% during gaming, I am gaming at 2560x1440 and at shooters it isnt annoying at all, but it doest take a bit of my mind off the games such as Skyrim, where most of the time you are hearing gentle natural voices....together with fans in the case. As you can see all fan spots are filled. for top I use corsair AF140 as they are blck and perfectly matches the case from outside, on the side I use Noctua NF-A14 ULN wich I get as reword when buying second GPU, other four are Fractal design R2 14cm fans, all of them are connected on internel fan controler and seperate one in 5,25 bay.
Below you can see pictures of my system, what I actualy wanted to ask is if I replace my case for Fractal design define XL R2 or Corsair 750D will my temps drop a bit by having more spacious case. Currently I am playing Crysis 2 with some hd mod and with all fans set to 900-1000 rpm and graphic ones I get temps of 75-80 for upper GPU, and 70-75 for lover one. Define R4 looks a bit filled up at this state, note that I changed the position of upper drive cage after I took those photos.
