If it's an i5-10400, it will be supported if the required features are turned on out of the box. Otherwise, they will have to be turned on manually from the BIOS. My Dell 8940 SE, i5-10400, is running the Windows 11 developers preview right now, and I didn't have to activate anything manually. I don't know how Lenovo ships their systems, though.
If your friend is trying to buy a system with hopes of getting Windows 11 on it, it's best you let the OS mature and is in the hands of pretty much everyone, so that early adopters can tell you what's bad with the OS and if all the hoop jumping is worth it. In that essence, you should tell him to wait for proper OS support and the OS to roll out or buy the system a little later.

Lenovo have a Win 10 compatibility list of all devices that work with it... why did I mention win 10? Cause undoubtedly they will make one for win 11 too... so I would wait or you can ask Lenovo about it now, since its hardware makers lagging behind that is cause of anyone needing to ask about tpm

Trick is he needs system now for work, so hopefully someone has this system and tried pc health check app from minisoft.

They used to sell expansion packs that had extra themes.
Now they selling an entire OS on what it looks like... (keeps thinking back to win 8 and thinking, 10 was just a new shell) . Wonders how many have just been reskins. Win 7 was just Vista with a new theme... people. wake up. They just replaying the same thing every 5 years.
