I have a Gtx 1060 6gb i5 6500 16gb ddr4 2133 and a 2tb hard drive i use for Os and 1tb for games

I know it's weird that i'm using my 2tb for Windows instead of my 1tb but that's because of my issue

When i first got my PC i only had the 2tb hard disk and i installed my games and had around 700gb left then i played games like Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare no issue had 90 fps on all of those games then when more games came out and i downloaded them i had around 500gb left and then Battlefield 1 just had so many fps drops and lag spikes

So my question is does a hard disk have a effect on fps in games or does the game not run very good because it's bad optimized other games like Titanfall 2 Call of duty sniper elite etc i still get very good fps and no stutter or lag but Battlefield 1 and 4 runs like crap stutters all the time i don't know what to do

I took a hard disk from my PC i had before i got a new one and i'm installing all of my games on that to see if they will work better on another Hard disk on my old PC games like Battlefield 1 and 4 didn't have lag spikes and got 45-60 fps because i had gtx 960 4gb i3 4160 8gb ddr4 (don't remember) 2133 back then and the hard disk was almost full and i only had one hard disk on that PC so i don't understand please help me what is wrong i really need help i can't stand stutter

Sorry for my English

No need of leaving space on both HD.
But If you have game data on both of your HD, then its fine to leave around 10% of space on both.
And it also depends on the game since heavy game creates a larger data file and hence more space.
Another reason is that the drive is slower as it reaches the end of the drive.

So its better to leave 10-15% of the total drive space.

Good Luck.:) Peace.
The more free hard disk space, the better. It gives the application more resources to work with. But only free space on HD does not impact directly. RAM, CPU and GPU also plays the role.

Good Luck.:) Peace.

Just to be sure i know i should leave some space on my Hard disk with windows installed but does space matter on my second Hard disk or should i also leave some space on that too

U will have to leave space on the disk which contains the game(or software)data, since the game will be processing the data on that disk only.

Good Luck.:) Peace.

How much space do you think i should leave on both my hard drives?

Right now i'm only using my second hard drive which has 1tb and it has 511gb left i think when i have around 200gb left i'll start downloading on my main hard drive but if i use let's say 95% of the space and i only have 5% left will it make my games stutter or have fps drops or will it just make loading longer because i'm fine with longer loading

Your FPS won't be affected by the HD unless you don't have enough RAM to hold all the files the game needs.
If that happens, the game can slow down while it waits for data from the HD.
If you have too little system RAM to start with you will notice a loss of performance due to the system swapping ram for HD space.
Since your ram memory looks good and you have a good GPU support, i don't think you need to worry about the FPS just depending on HD.

Good Luck.:) Peace.

Ok i'll try to keep around 15% on both my HD and i really hope that will help they're both really fast for a Hard Drive so they should send data to the game fast thanks for your help i just hope it will make Battlefield 1 run without those annoying stutter

Found the problem i think it seems that Windows 10 Creator is causing stutter on a lot of people's PC and it seems i have it too without even knowing it had installed Windows 10 Creator and i can't revert back to old Windows 10 so i'll wait and see if Microsoft will make a update that will fix this crap update
