Question Will mobo fit?

Right now I have a ASUS 990FX mobo but I’m looking at getting the MSI X470 gaming plus mobo. Would that fit as well? I bought my tower 8 years ago. It has a clear side so can see inside. How would I know before I buy?

Both motherboards are standard ATX format and will fit in the same case.
