Will moving game directory affect uninstall capability

Hey guys, i just built a new computer with only a 500gb HDD. And I love to play video games. Now, I am running out of space. so, when i first started installing games, I went to my folder Users >> "username" and i made a new folder called "games" then, i went to libraries, and i added a new library called "games" and i included that folder. almost all the games I have are installed there. Now that i am running out of space, i plan on buying a new hdd and installing it. you can move your users folders to another hard drive or wherever, which is what i plan to do. SO... my question is. if i use the windows "location" feature to move the directory that my games are installed to to another hard drive, would it mess them up in any way? would i not be able to uninstall them since the path has changed? Thanks!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, it depends how the game was coded.
Some will automatically update the registry, etc. others won't.

If it breaks uninstall, just move them back, uninstall them, then re-install them on the new HDD.

The windows location feature is designed for files rather than installed programs. I would hazard this will break pretty much every game.
