Hi,

I've little confuse on if it will be work?

ISP to 1GbE Router connected with a 2 units of 10Gbe Switch hub

The 1st 10GbE Switch Hub connected device are my 10GbE Media NAS and 10GbE File Server.
The 2nd 10GbE Switch Hub Connected with 10GbE PCs.

Q> will the 10GbE PC transfer speed work correctly to 10GbE NAS/Servers across to a 1GbE router?
or it only work with in the same 10GbE switch hub only?

Solution
If both switches A and B connect to the router and not directly to each other then you will be limited to 1gbit traffic between the 2 switches.

Devices on each switch will still talk to each other at 10g but not on the other switch.

If it is a option hook switch a to switch b directly and then pick either of your switches and hook just one of them to the router. The traffic would of course have to go over to the other switch to access the router but since it is only 1gbit of traffic at the most it is less a of restriction than all your devices having to be limited to 1gbit.
Generally you can expect "backwards compatibility" with respect to functionality.

Meaning that a 10GbE will work but at the slower 1GbE speed.

Overall, performance will be only as fast as the slowest link in the network.

As I understand your post, your router is the bottleneck at 1 GbE.

So 10G speed can be working on the same switch hub connected.

when the 10G switch(A) to Router to 10G switch(B) those device connected from switch(A) wont work 10G speed across from router to siwtch(B) right?
