Question Will my 2by 2 pin psu be able to power the 2 by 4 connector on my motherboard

I have recently bought a motherboard and was wondering if I could connect a 2by2 12v instead of a 2by4 I am aware that this question has been solved with a yes however I don’t have the same cpu so I was wondering if mine would work I have a gigabyte h110 d3a motherboard and an intel pentium g4560 with 4gb 2400mhz ram
