I recently ordered the following parts for my low budget pc which i will upgrade over time as needed but i am wondering will my PSU run it safely until i can upgrade to a better PSU?
Parts are :
CPU: AMD fx 6350 4.2ghz 125w
Graphics: Gigabyte geForce GT 640 1050 mhz 2gb
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78LMT
RAM: 2 x 4gb corsair ddr3 1333mhz

Also just to double check these parts are compatible right? There are AM3 socket. Thanks for your responses in advance.

If this is the PSU you have(http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alpine-Quiet-Silent-Power-Supply/dp/B004X1LAE2) I would highly suggest replacing it with a better quality unit as soon as you can. Also with the 760g chipset you may experience random throttling issues with the CPU. *edit* just looked it up and that motherboard doesn't have the 6350 listed as a supported CPU. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=3833. While there are some 760g boards that support it I would suggest getting atleast a board with a 970 chipset if you can't afford a 990x or 990fx. Here's a decent 970 board http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97ler20. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any microATX 970 or 990 boards if thats the size you wanted.

Ok thanks. If you have time could you maybe suggest a similar board which will support the listed components and hopefully in a similar price range. PS its for christmass so i would really like a definite yes or no to the compatibily of the cpu and board if possible

My budget is already really streched i know its not an expensive rig but my mam is buying it. So as close to price of original board as possible, also dabs.ie is my ideal site. Looking further into it and it appears my board is compatible http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4305 the earliear poster appeared to have a s2p version when mine is the usb3 version. Your opinion would be very valuable thanks... ideally i want to keep the set up i have ordered at the moment i can upgrade board psu graphics later in the future all i need is compatibility at the present time

excellent! yeah im only paying 40 for the board so i wont hesitate to upgrade in 2/3 months. really? can you give me an idea of the type of problems ill run into. And what sort of games il be able to run. Id be more than happy with being able to run the likes of bf4 on regular settings. Do you reckon that will be possible? Your knowledge is very appreciated by the way!

Ok thanks a million. yeah the way i see it if them companies put millions into developing compents and research there a reason its performance is so. I wouldnt overclock unless i had a water cooling system or something similar. Im only new to this site. Is there a way i can rep you for your help?
