Will my system support Nvidia GT 710 and Processor Intel Quad Q6600.

GT 710: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-g...

QQ6600:

I know it's not much but will my system support this graphics card and processor.

Solution

Yes it is. The GT710 should work fine as well.

what do you plan on doing and what CPU do you already have? If you have a dual core that is faster then 2.4 GHZ and plan to do just gaming then honestly it will be a downgrade.

Yeah and how much money are you looking to spend for this "upgrade", it maybe cheaper or at least most cost effective to pick up a refurbished PC on eBay if your in the US. Even an older I5-24XX series that you can find on ebay for around $100-150 would be a better value.

You will be a small bump in the single threaded (800 vs 1066 FSB) and then on multiple core decent bump as well.

If you already have the Q6600 I say go for it. If you haven't gotten anything get something like a Q9550/9650. I had a 9550 OCed to 4.2 or 4.3 and it worked out pretty well for quite a few years for me. Once i got a used GTX 480 off my buddy it actually played Crysis 3 pretty good actually.
