I am building a pc with a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070.
I wish to know whether the CPU will bottleneck my GPU?

Hey there,

The short answer is, no. They are pretty well balanced CPU and GPU. Are there slightly faster CPU's than the 5600x that can push a few more FPS, yes. But it's not what I'd call a bottleneck. I dislike even using that term.

What res monitor will you put with it?

It’s a good match and the 5600x is still among the top end of gaming CPU’s. The resolution you use, the RAM setup, the specific game and game settings will all play a part if there is any ‘cpu’ bottleneck.

Even the best gaming systems can have a cpu bottleneck depending on various factors.
