Will my Antec Vp450p be sufficient for this upgrade?

I have a FX 6300 on an Asus M5A78lm-/USB3 mobo with a GTX 960 (2 GB).
This system ran fine for 3 years but for the past year I have been experiencing random shutdowns when gaming. Initially it only used to randomly reboot when playing heavy games like GTA V, but now it simply turns off (I play Siege right now).

I am guessing the culprit the CPU overheating, as the fans run like a jet as soon as I start the game (This never happened in the initial days). The guy who assembled my PC actually mixed his own very suspicious looking thermal paste with the pre applied one.
It sounds like a jet even when playing browser games on chrome like agario.

So I decided to Upgrade my CPU and MoBo to a R3 1200 and the cheapest B350 I can find online on amazon.in during a sale.
Can I keep my VP450P to run the new components or do you think it won't be sufficient, if you do, please suggest something from amazon.in

Regards

the VP450p would be fine IF it had a valid warranty. that unit is 1 year out of warranty and I would not use for anything other than emergency use. if it suddenly fails it could take out the entire system and you would have no recourse.

I would not suggest keeping the same PSU for the new parts. if you buy a new vp450 that would be fine (no overclocking) for 2 years.

No use if I cant overclock, will the EVGA 500B do me good for a 3.5 ghz-3.7 ghz OC?

the EVGA B and W series are both entry level units and are not made for overclocking. the corsair CX (gray label only) are good budget units. the seasonic s12II or the M12II are also budget units that can do some overclocking
but they are expensive on amazon.in

if you get an antec with more power you will have overhead to overclock a bit - nothing heroic

Yeah I already neglected Seasonic and CX series as they are overpriced, the problem i have with antec is that it mentions 85-87% efficiency without being rated 80+ in any category.
But Why would a 500 watt 80+ bronze be not sufficient to OC a r3 1200, afterall that ryzen chip is rated at 65 watt only.
GPU at extreme test goes 120 watt max, i think 500 watt should give me enough headroom for a mild OC (to reach 1300x performance).

EDIT: also antec's 500 watt is significantly cheaper.

when you overclock you are stressing the PSU, the PSU you mention are entry model units (made primarily for office machines), they are not tested or rated for OC. thin wires, made to a strict budget and corners are cut, protections are not installed all to keep the price down. add all these together and I do not suggest overclocking with that PSU.

if the worst should happen while overclocking an inferior PSU will not protect the PC, the current can destroy the entire computer. RAM, Motherboard CPU, and drives I have seen it.
the 500 will allow some mild OC should be able to get the 400Mhz the 1300x gives you.
I would rather spent the 15 dollars (1000INR) and get the 1300x rather than risk the entire system to get the same speed from an inferior CPU by overclocking with a suspect PSU

The Antec 500 watt mentions all the Protections though, still its not 80+ rated. But also currently the 1300x went down in price and 1200 went up, so if i instead buy the cheapest a320 with 1300x (since no overclocking) i should set back at a similar price, maybe a few hundreds higher.
can u recommend a a320 mobo?

they will all be similar in performance and abilities, each maker will add their own special apps and tweaks. I like asrock, Asus, and MSI, as I have used all and been happy. do you need mATX or ATX? you are replacing an mATX board.

https://www.amazon.in/MSI-A320M-ProSeries-Micro-ATX-Motherboard/dp/B06WP88J38/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1533867624&sr=8-2&keywords=a320

its not the cheapest but its the cheapest I would consider. cheaper motherboards do not have the m.2 slot, this one does and that is worth the extra moneys. In my humble opinion

It's alright but I only use a SATA Hard drive, and that m.2 slot is of no use to me.
What about this one : https://www.amazon.in/MSI-A320M-Pro-VD-S-Processor/dp/B072633KTS/ref=pd_sbs_147_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B072633KTS&pd_rd_r=d251c414-9c54-11e8-a96d-9be80228057c&pd_rd_w=hyEna&pd_rd_wg=6vCN7&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=A1VBAL9TL5WCBF&pf_rd_p=d37c8f72-5db7-4817-888d-abb9c00ab564&pf_rd_r=0FVRGYZDZTAXMYZ3DYVN&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=0FVRGYZDZTAXMYZ3DYVN
