Last night I ordered all my parts for my very first rig, including an ASRock H110M-ITX/ac and a Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake. After ordering, I realized that my motherboard may not have a Kaby Lake ready BIOS, and that I will need to update it. I've heard somewhere that the only way to update your BIOS is to own a Skylake processor. An article I read this morning from October said ASRock was readying their new motherboards to be Kaby Lake compatible when they ship, so I'm wondering if my mobo will already have the new BIOS installed. I ordered it from Vuugo Canada. I'm not spending any more money on a Skylake processor if needed, so if the board doesn't come with the updated BIOS, should I send the processor back and get a Skylake chip, or hope that the board already comes updated?
