I have an 2nd generation i5 system with a msi gtx 960 2g card. I want to upgrade my card to 1050ti dgb because newer games need more memory.
I'm hearing old motherboards are not properly designed to support pascal cards. Will my motherboard run the aforementioned card?

Solution
If it doesn't have an external plug, then all 75W iirc will be going through the motherboard.
Personally, i'd get one with an external connector.
450W Quality would be OK for your machine

Isn't it in the title of the thread?

It looks like you will be fine because it being a half decent mobo.

The 1050 doesn't draw lots, but maybe to be safe, make sure your PSU is up to scratch.

The gpu doesn't have a 6pin connector. How powerful of a PSU will I need in this case?
