Will my BIOS version remain the same if I re-install Windows?

Not sure if this is the right section but couldn't find anything more suiting, I have to re-install Windows 7 on my PC and was just wondering if this would return my BIOS version to what it was when I purchased it, or if it would stay as the version that I flashed it to recently? Thanks in advance.

No, it won't change the BIOS version back to the original. Think of it as more of a hardware update than an OS update.

the BIOS is on a small Prom chip on the motherboard and has nothing to do with the HDD/ssd that the os is on. So reinstalling or just installing the os will not effect the bios at all.
