A user on another thread said my bios may not be compatible with the CPU I just ordered.

I have an acer ms 7829 LGA 1150 motherboard from an acer predator. Ordered an i5 4690 and that comes today.

Should this be ok to Install. Any tips?

hmmm they may be right because this board is a Intel B85 chipset. that is one of the early ones from intel and support the first generation of haswell processors right off the bat. and not the haswell refreshed CPUs e.g including the following cpus 4690 and 4790 and the devils canyon. you might need to update the bios if it is available before ur motherboard can support the 4690.

i have also found a manual for it for you. though it might be of no help right now, but it is a rare find to keep it handy.
