[SOLVED] Will my colder fit my cpu?

Hey, I’m upgrading my amd fx 3600 to a ryzen 7 3700x. I currently have a genome 2 case. I was wondering if the preinstalled cooler will fit the ryzen 7. If not should I swap the cooler and keep the case?

Just use the stock cooler that comes with the 3700x. It is more than capable of cooler the 3700x

Yes a stock fx6300 cooler will fit a ryzen 3700x.

Why on earth youd want to use it is beyond me.

The 3700x cooler that's included with it is way way way better!
