My build -
Ryzen 5 3600
Rtx 2060 SC Ultra
16GB (2x8) 3200Mhz Cl16
Asus ROG Crosshair VII Hero
Planning on using Medium-High settings on every game.
Thanks for helping if you comment!

Solution
I suppose it depends on the game. The RTX 2060 gets over 100fps at max settings on many popular games, over 80FPS on many heavy hitters. At med-high settings I doubt it would have any problems. Many games it will blow past 144fps.

Given the single to quad benchmarks of the Ryzen 3600. Look at any game benched with an overclocked Ryzen 2700x. The Ryzen 3600 at stock setting will likely get higher FPS. Looking at this benchmark from gamers Nexus. The most demanding games will be around 100FPS. Most games will blow past 144FPS.

All said. Those two should make a very good pairing.

It does just fine.

How i know this?
Well, i have i5-6600K with GTX 1060 3GB GPU and 144Hz 1080p monitor as well (Skylake build, full specs with pics in my sig) and i can play all my games with high/ultra settings with solid 60+ FPS. Your R5 3600 and RTX 2060 has quite a bit better performance than my build has.

Oh, with RTX 2060, you can look towards 1440p gaming as well.
