will my cooler works on am4 motherboards

hello , my cpu cooler currently is cooler master hyper tx3 evo , will it fits on am4 motherboard? im planning to make a zen build in the future.

Check their website to see if it will or if they are offering free upgrade kits like some of the cooler manufacturers are.

I'd be surprised if there was an adapter for that cooler because it's not very expensive.

You might as well get a better cooler to reduce fan noise, and help with overclocking (with a supported AM4 CPU and AM4 motherboard).

It's also not certain how good the AMD cooler will be. The WRAITH cooler was actually pretty good so if they had something like that again it might be the way to go.

Too soon to tell, there is no specifications for the new AM4 MOBOS and socket, my recommendation is wait a bit longer and your will get an answer since AMD Ryzen is just reedy to arrive and once this happens we will have all the specs for the socket and MOBO builder.

im in a tight budget so , getting a new cooler would be out of my budget. and im not looking to overclock too much since im not an expert on it, i bought the cooler master cooler because my old stock cooler sucks.

*Okay, I found the list and it's COMPATIBLE. No adapter required.

(You'll still want to find out whether your cooler is better or worse than the stock cooler provided by AMD though. Some CPU's may also not even have a cooler.)
