Hi there, newby here. I wanted to know if my current system will run a new 2080ti graphics card. And also which 2080ti would you recommended with my current psu. I was thinking buying either the NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX™ 2080 TI or the MSI V371-088R GRAPHICS CARD GEFORCE RTX 2080 TI 11 GB GDDR6.
My current setup:
MOBO: MSI z270 A-Pro
CPU: intel i7 7700k oc to 4.6ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 3200 (4x8GB)
COOLING: Corsair H110iGT
GPU: MSI GTX1080 Aero 8GB OC (269 x 111 x 35 mm) recommenced psu 500W
PSU: Corsair CX650
STORAGE: 5x Samsung Evo 850/860
Seagate 1x 2TB Barracuda 7200 RPM
CASE: InWin 805 Black (Supports High-End Graphics Cards up to 320mm (Height: 164mm)
I was just thinking of just upgrading the gpu to the new 2080ti using my current CX650 psu, will the cx650 handle it with all my other components?
A breakdown of each wattage component would be great so I know where I stand.
Please note: I only play in VR on my Valve index.
Any advice will be greatful before I pull the trigger.
