Will my CPU be compatiable with my montherboard?

Hey guys,

So recently my old pc decided to die which inspired me to build a new PC, however I am aware some of the new CPU's don't actually fit all motherboards.

So, I was wondering if you could let me know if a: AMD FX-9370 Black Edition Octa Core CPU would be compatible with a: MSI A88X-G45-GAMING Motherboard

Check the socket, the socket is what decides it. Your motherboard must support the socket of the AMD FX-9370 which I believe is a AM3+ socket but you need to check if the motherboard supports it.

I did my research and no, it will not support the motherboard, only am3+ motherboards will support it.

looks like the best one is A10-7870K, APU's have dedicated video processing inside, but if you run a graphics card alongside it will run great.
