Good day lads,
So today I've bought a new GPU, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G.
My current CPU (Core i5 4440) is heavily bottlenecking this GPU.
Therefore I'm going to upgrade my CPU. I am about to buy the Core i7 6700K tomorrow.
The bottleneck calculator however, says that even that CPU would bottleneck my new GPU a little. Is this true?
If not, would it be true if I add my other GPU, the Gigabyte GTX 1050ti?
I plan to add it in the future.
Please tell me the 6700K is fine lol.
Other specs:
RAM: DDR3 2x4GB
Cooler: Stock cooler, planning on buying a new one
PSU: 500W (might have to upgrade idk bout that)
Mobo: MSi H81M-P33
Many thanks,
Leronus.
