I have a AMD phenom II X4 820 cpu. I want to add the gtx 1050 to my pc. Can i add the Gtx 1050 2gb and not make it bottleneck. I have 6 gb ram, 300w psu and FOXCONN 2AB1 mother board. And is the Gtx 1050 compatible with my motherboard?

The GTX 1050 would be a nice upgrade for your system. Some games may bottleneck, but not enough to keep you from getting the upgrade.

Yes it is compatible with your motherboard. http://www.shopwilkes.net/foxconn_mainboard_specs.htm
PCIE 3.0 GPUs are backward compatible with PCIE 2.0 motherboards.
That cpu will for sure bottleneck the 1050, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it. If you have the money it might be a good time to consider getting a new computer, you're going to have very poor performance in new titles with only 2 slow cores. If you're playing older games or just CSGO/DOTA or something maybe it's not such a huge deal.

I am sorry i have the X4 not the X2. i dont have enough to build a pc right now so i am just thinking about ugrading my gpu. but would the quad core still be able to play todays games. For example GTA V
