Will my CPU bottleneck a GTX970 (Short and Sweet)

Keeping this short and sweet, I have a AMD 6300 3.5Ghz 6-Core, will it bottleneck a GTX970, or will it work nicely with it?

The FX6300 will partially bottleneck your PC with any game that requires a high end cpu eg an i7.

Yes there would be a bottleneck but that's because AMD CPU's aren't the best when it comes to gaming anyway. You're likely to see a difference in FPS with that GTX 970 but you won't be able to see its full power until you upgrade your CPU.

Oh, but would the difference be HUGE? Or will I be fine waiting a few months to upgrade?

If you are gaming on a 1080p monitor, bottlenecking a gtx970 is not even a consideration. You will only see 60fps no matter what, so does it really make any difference if the gpu is slowed down from 120 to 110? Very few games have the ability to pull sub-60fps even on ultra.

I'd not worry about it.

VTX HD 7870, its outdated a bit, doesn't run games as smooth as I would hope anymore.
